About Bhavesh Desai
Bhavesh Desai, Pharm.D., J.D., is a dually-licensed professional who has spent his career at the intersection of healthcare and law. Unlike many healthcare attorneys, Bhavesh has spent over 20 years in the trenches as a pharmacy owner and operator. He has built specialty infusion pharmacies from the ground up, managed high-volume retail locations, and directed clinical strategy for long-term care providers.
In addition, he has held numerous positions in pharmacy organizations over the years, from President of the Indian Pharmacists Association, invited graduation speaker for Western University Pharmacy school and President of the WesternU College of Pharmacy Alumni Association, and committee member for National Community Pharmacist Association and NCPDP. In addition to his pharmacy experience, Mr. Desai graduated from Whittier Law School with a Juris Doctor in 2012. Mr. Desai has been an advocate for clients through his volunteer work with Community Legal Aid SoCal since 2019.
He assists clients with facility license applications, pharmacy sale and acquisition, and regulatory compliance. This firsthand “owner-operator” perspective allows him to see the pitfalls that other attorneys miss. He doesn’t just provide a legal opinion; he provides a path forward for your business.
