Most of what goes wrong for a pharmacy owner starts on the operations side: a dispensing record, a PBM contract term, a permit that didn’t transfer with the sale. I read those problems the way an owner does first, then the way a lawyer does.

Questions Pharmacy Owners Ask
Do I need a lawyer for a Board of Pharmacy investigation?
Not every inspection needs one. But anything that asks for a written response, a statement from you or your staff, or records beyond the routine is worth a call before you answer. What you say early tends to shape everything that follows.
What should I do when a PBM audit notice arrives?
Note the deadline, keep every record the notice touches, and don’t send anything until you know exactly what’s being requested. Call me as soon as it lands. The response window is short.
Can you help me buy or sell a pharmacy?
Yes, on either side of the deal. For buyers, I handle the purchase agreement, the diligence, and the Board of Pharmacy change of ownership filings together, so the transaction and the licensing don’t work against each other. For sellers, I negotiate the terms that protect you at closing and after it: how and when you get paid, what you’re still responsible for once the pharmacy changes hands, and for how long.
Can you help with pharmacy licensing outside California?
Yes. I handle pharmacy licensing in all 50 states, including nonresident permits, so a pharmacy expanding beyond California has one point of contact for every state it ships to.
Do you work with pharmacies outside Orange County?
